Jicote Natural is the honey brand of the company AESA FOODS. We chose the name of Jicote because in Nicaragua, the word Jicote is colloquially associated with beekeeping and honey production. It represents origin, tradition and wholesome. Our honey is produced from natural bio-reserves located in the north of the country. More specifically, from blooms of coffee flowers, guava, laurel, bell and other wild blooms.
In the Nicaraguan highlands, AESA FOODS has emerged as one of the countrys largest organic honey producers, with over 1,200 beehives and an annual production of 30 metric tons of raw honey. AESA a private family owed business with a social and environmental focus, with two years in the market and dedicated to the production and commercialization of honey.
