Ecovida´s productive strategy since its beginnings in 2011 has been mainly focused on the cultivation, processing and packaging of hibiscus flower chalices (Flor de Jamaica), among others; always under careful organic farming practices and appropriate processing standards and labor hygiene, to enhance the product´s physical characteristics and nutritional. The farm is located in La Paz de Carazo as it favors the production of hibiscus flowers, since it has an ideal microclimate, with dew at night, which brings the moisture required for the growth and maturity of the plants during its vegetative and productive development months . Searching to add value to cultivated products, besides the dehydrated hibiscus flower for tea preparation, Ecovida also makes marmalade from the hibiscus flowers and continues to develop new products from them.
